Objective Development of a new type of computerised system to control heating and lighting equipment in buildings. The aim is to achieve an annual decrease of energy consumption of about 30%.Payback period is expected to be of 4 years. The new system is able to control the boilers, the values of radiation and the lighting system.Following elements are used to perform control and optimization :- ambiant air temperature,- infra-red detector to detect occupancy of rooms,- meteorological forecasts.Meteorological forecasts are received directly from the local meteorological station by means of a radio receiver integrated in the control system. Each control system can be pre-programmed to take the specificity of each building into account.
