Introducing a new technology by a durable goods monopolist

Objetivo

Research objectives and content

Image Reconstruction from sparse MR scans is done mainly in the USA. Our concerted research effort and attendant involvement of Signal Processing the scan time. Short scan times are a prerequisite for e.g. abdominal imaging, flow imaging, monitoring oxygen level-dependent contrast (fMRI), Groups aims at equilibrating the situation. bolus tracking, and interventional (during operation) MRI. In collaboration Our unique time-domain MRS software has attracted worldwide attention, both in academia and industry. Training of young researchers is of a paramount with industry, we contribute to rapid imaging by: importance to make the results accessible to the clinical environment.

1) Design of sparse sample distributions ( Sparse Scanning, Cartesian and non-Cartesian). We propose nine young researchers, totalling 223 person-months. .
2) Reconstruction of images from sparse scans ( including gridding, wavelets, Bayesian estimation, SOD, FFT) In addition, we contribute to fully automatic, user-friendly quantitation and imaging of metabolites (MRS, MRSI) in clinical and medical research environments. We extend/tune our MRS/MRSI software to distinct wishes of Industry and our User Group comprising ninety teams, worldwide. Letters from industry are enclosed. Our project is multidisciplinary, covering Mathematics, Informatics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Biochemistry, Medicine, Radiology.
