Objetivo
A. Development of special transportation means for turbine erection on alpine sites;
B. Annual production of 29 GWh electricity as a contribution to the new Austrian electricity laws and to the EU White Paper and Kyoto goals;
C. Improvement of wind turbine availability on alpine sites up to 95%;
D. Increasing turbine energy output under severe icing up to 15% by the optimal use of a blade heating system;
E. Improvement of anemometers and ice detectors for wind prediction and in monitoring turbines under low temperatures and icing;
F. Optimization of the power curve of wind turbines at a tsite with variable air density and turbulent air currents;
G. Measurements and analysis of the ice accumulation effects on the loads, performance and life span of the wind turbines.
