The European Commission, DG XI, has published two invitations to tender concerning technical support for the follow-up of LIFE actions in the field of nature conservation. These invitations to tender replace two published in January 1998 (OJ No S 7 of 10.1.1998 p. 22), which have since been cancelled. The two tenders concern technical support for LIFE-Nature actions, in the field of nature conservation, in Northern Europe (Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Austria, Sweden, Finland, Great Britain - Ref. D2/SER/980030), and Southern Europe (Greece, Spain, France, Italy, Portugal - Ref. D2/SER/980031). A detailed description of the work to be undertaken can be found in the tender documents, obtainable from the Commission. The contracts will run for a maximum of three years, based on annual renewable contracts.
