The European Commission, DG III, has published an invitation to tender for the provision of technical services to facilitate collaboration between the Commission and national competent authorities in the field of pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.

The initiative, EUDRA, is based on telematics and involves various information and communications technologies (ICT) projects. The contract is divided into the following lots:

- Lot 1: a feasibility analysis for a telecommunications network in the cosmetics sector;
- Lot 2: EudraLex, a project to provide technical services for the electronic dissemination of information on pharmaceuticals and cosmetics;
- Lot 3: EudraTrack, a project for the provision of technical services for the implementation of an information system on pharmaceuticals.
