Maritime traffic flow evaluation tool
The Commission of the European Communities makes a call for tenders to provide DG VII's maritime safety unit with a tool to test and evaluate maritime traffic flow conditions in different zones and to try out evaluation stations; this includes the supply of software capable of collating actual traffic data, the supply of a work station, trial runs on six sites for a period of at least one month on each sight, with an assessment of the results of the trial run including proposals for harmonizing VTS procedures and operators' tasks.
