InterLink Online Public Consultation

The international research community is warmly invited to actively participate in the InterLink open electronic consultation, and to contribute to shape the content and structure of future international R&D activities.

One of the main objectives of InterLink is to define joint basic research agendas, in terms of research priorities, road-mapping activities and joint Research and Technological Development (RTD) initiatives in the thematic areas of Software intensive systems and new computing paradigms, Ambient computing and communication, and Intelligent and cognitive systems. Towards this goal, InterLink launched an open electronic consultation on major challenges, promising research directions, and effective forms of international collaboration in the addressed Thematic Areas. The first phase of the on line consultation, which will last until 30th April 2008, focuses on the State-of-the-Art in the three thematic areas addressed by InterLink. The corresponding State-of-the-Art are available at: http://interlink.ics.forth.gr/consultationForum InterLink is a coordination action funded by the European Commission. It aims at advancing Europe’s knowledge in a number of critical Information and Communication Science and Technologies areas, at promoting European solutions and knowledge world-wide and at influencing the way research in these areas would evolve internationally. InterLink will enable the European research community to interact with research communities outside Europe and link with the best research carried out in these countries. Scientific coordination of InterLink is headed by the Institute of Computer Science, Foundation for Research and Technology, Hellas while the management of the project is ensured by ERCIM, the European Research Consortium for Informatics and Mathematics.
