ELECTROCHIMAT Workshop - a successful event

On the 6th of June 2008 the consortium of ELECTROCHIMAT organized a national workshop in Bucharest-Romania to promote the results of R&D activities performed and to offer the possibilities of further cooperation into nanotechnologies sector.

ELECTROCHIMAT is a project financed by the National Authority for Scientific Research from Romania through its Program CEEX -"Excellence in Research". The project started in September and the duration is 25 months and it’s focused on “nano” sector.

On the 6th of June 2008, the consulting company, partner 6 of the Consortium, FM MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY SRL, organized a National Workshop, in the Faculty of Mechanics, in Polytechnic University of Bucharest. During the workshop all partners presented the results of the project up to this moment and outlined the future ideas and activities for the next phase, phase V, the last one of the project. Also a posters session was organized, where all the participants discussed future funding opportunities for different research activities.

Almost 40 persons were present at the event, and everybody was very satisfied about the outcomes of the workshop and the professional way it was organized. The presentations about investigations on electrochemical obtained micro and nano structured composite materials for sustainable development were very interesting, their timing was well structured and the lunch that took place at the end of the workshop was another great opportunity to discuss future project ideas.

In other words this event was a real success in every participant’s opinion.
