Two New Early Stage Researcher Fellowships Available at the Institute of Archaeology, University College London
The Institute of Archaeology, University College London, a partner institution within the broader NARNIA Marie Curie ITN research network has announced two new Early Stage Researcher Fellowships (equivalent to PhD) focused on ancient metallurgy and the use of copper alloys in the Eastern Mediterranean respectively. Eligible applicants for these fellowships (equivalent to a PhD position) must be in possession of a Master degree (MA/MSc) or equivalent in the field of archaeometallurgy, or archaeology, or an otherwise appropriate subject area (chemistry, maths, geology, materials science). Eligibility criteria set by the European Union for Marie Curie fellowships require that the applicants have no more than 4 years research experience prior to the envisaged starting date. At the time of the selection, applicants must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the UK for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the starting date of the fellowship.
