By common agreement between the representatives of the governments of the Member States, it has been decided that the European Parliament shall have its seat in Strasbourg, with its additional plenary sessions held in Brussels. The Committees of Parliament shall meet in Brussels while its General Secretariat will remain in Luxembourg. The Council shall have its seat in Brussels though its April, June and October meetings will be in Luxembourg. The Committee of the Regions, having an organizational structure in common with the Economic and Social Committee shall also have its seat in Brussels.
