DG III calls for proposals for grants
The European Commission, Directorate-General III - Industry, has issued a call for proposals for grants under 14 themes, which are accessible at: URL: http://europa.eu.int/comm/dg03/directs/dg30/grants/grantmen.htm The 14 themes are as follows: - 1: Scientific cooperation between Commission and Member States on questions relating to food; - 2: Pharmaceuticals and cosmetic products; - 3: Foreign direct investment (FDI); - 4: European quality policy: promotion & awareness; - 5: Industrial change: new technology, business networks, value chain engineering; - 6: Benchmarking or regional competitiveness; - 7: Mutual recognition agreements in the electrotechnical sector; - 8: Mutual recognition agreements in the medical sector; - 9: Aeronautics and defence industries: The challenges; - 10: Aerospace standardization; - 11: Aerospace chain supply; - 12: MARIS (Maritime Information Society); - 13: Maritime regional interests in Europe; - 14: Environment and industry - European Environmental benchmarking Network The list will next be updated at the end of April 1999.
