EU-Japan Opening of LIMMS Call for a 4th partner

EU-Japan Opening of LIMMS is opening up to a 4th partner. The FP7 project has launched a call for one additional partner. The first step is a call for expressions of interest open now with a deadline on August 31st, 2013

EUJO-LIMMS, supported by FP7, aims at opening the activity of the Laboratory for Integrated Micro Mechatronic Systems (LIMMS), Joint Unit between CNRS and The University of Tokyo, located in Tokyo, to European partners. At the moment, 3 European partners are part of the consortium : Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland, University of Freiburg - Department of Microsystems Engineering (IMTEK) in Germany, Technical Research Centre of Finland (VTT). Hosted European researchers develop joint projects for new applications in flexible electronics, optics, nanotechnology, molecular and cellular bio-engineering. The project has launched a call for one additional partner to enter the project in 2014. The first step is a call for expressions of interest open now with a deadline on August 31st, 2013. The potential partner will become a member of the consortium and benefit from an EU grant of 200.000 euros for mobility and personnel costs in order to pursue joint projects at LIMMS in Tokyo.
