Commission prepares to report on Risk Capital Action Plan
The European Commission is preparing, for mid-1999, a progress report on the implementation of the Action Plan on risk capital at the levels of both the European Community and Member States. On 21 April 1998, the Commission presented a Communication, "Risk Capital: A Key to Job Creation in the European Union", to the ECOFIN Council. The Cardiff European Council endorsed this Communication, along with its refined Action Plan, in June 1998.
