The European Commission, DG XI, wishes to award a study contract to assess the current situation regarding management of spent sealed radioactive sources in Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania and Slovakia, and to identify those areas where improved management practices could be recommended. Tenderers must have experience and or expertise in the management of spent, sealed radioactive sources, as well as experience in implementing collaborative projects with partners in the Central and Eastern European Countries and/or the Commonwealth of Independent States. The contract will last for 18 months, and will have a budget of between 250,000 and 350,000 euro.
