ELSA publishes catalogue of contracts from FP4
ELSA, the European Union's organisation for Ethical, Legal and Social Aspects of the life sciences and technologies, has recently published a catalogue of projects funded by the EU under the Fourth RTD Framework Programme. The projects described in the publication are in progress and producing results. It is envisaged that the publication of the activities of these projects, in topics ranging from fundamental values in medical ethics to the patenting of biotechnology and consumer choice towards genetically modified food, will help to rationalise the debate on the use of biotechnology.
