Action programme for SMEs: Statistical projects
In the context of its Action Programme for SMEs, the Commission of the European Communities intends to improve the SME statistical system by updating and extending the coverage of the SME database. The collection of information from various sources has already started. The definition of concepts has been put in hand, existing data have been studied and tables prepared. Contacts have been established with the national statistical institutes. Tenderers must be established in the Community.
