The office for harmonisation in the Internal Market will shortly issue an invitation to tender for the provision of computer services in the following fields:

- strategy studies, pre-analyses, feasibility studies, expert quality appraisals intended for preparatory work on systems development;

- maintenance and development of information systems and software, including the adaptation and integration of existing products and systems, carried out for fixed prices;

- contracted-out software maintenance and development;

- software development projects;

- operation of and support for computerised systems;

- installation and relocation of computer equipment, stock management;

- documentary analyses;

- technical training;

- drafting of documentation.

It is anticipated that award procedures will begin on 23 May 2000.
