PHARE: Information system upgrade for Czech and Slovak statistical offices
The Commission of the European Communities has issued a notice of invitation to tender in the framework of the PHARE programme concerning the upgrading of the information systems of the statistical offices of the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic (Ref: PHR/93/CZ-SK/062). The aim is to upgrade the existing systems to embrace open systems design and the best practices in the national statistical offices of the Community Member States, including facilities for migration of data and applications from the existing systems. Participation is open on equal terms to natural and legal persons of the Member States of the European Community, Albania, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, the Slovak Republic and Slovenia.
