Calls for proposals for FP5 are postponed
Two calls for proposals under the European Commission's Fifth RTD Framework programme (FP5), which were expected to be published on 15 June are now postponed to a later date. The calls concerned are: - The second call for proposals for research training networks, part of the horizontal programme for Improving the human resarch potential and the socio-economic knowledge base. This will be published at a later date, as yet unspecified by the Commission. And, - A call for proposals opening certain areas of the specific programme for RTD on a user friendly information society (IST). Part 6 of the IST work programme envisaged the publication of a call for proposals in June 2000 as provided for in section 6.1.2. This call will now be published in July 2000.
