New CORDIS menu system
A new version of the CORDIS database search menu is now in operation, offering simpler and more efficient menu access to CORDIS information. Menus have been simplified to the minimum number of screens and further options added to the footers of several screens. In addition, the ability to change database is now available at any time during the interrogation process. The additional search options provide more flexible selection by dates, offering the choice of specifying a lower limit date, an upper limit date, or a date interval. If a user-defined search term has reduced the search result to zero, an adapted "How To Proceed" menu appears, explaining the situation and offering a new option. The "Show Records" section has been completely revised, offering: An options screen permitting the user to switch between various subsets of the search results at any time during the SHOW session; scrolling back; skipping the rest of a record; and a user-defined SHOW format which remains available after switching to a system defined format. Finally, a revision of "Print Records" offers format selection for all CORDIS databases.
