The Joint Research Centre's European Centre for validation of biomedical testing methods unit (ECVAM) is calling for tenders for data collection for its database on advanced and alternative methods to animal experiments in the field of non-animal biocompatability testing of medical devices. The contractor will be required to develop a new sector on the biocompatability testing of medical devices. The task is to be carried out under supervision of the staff at ECVAM's scientific information service (SIS) and by using an MS access-databased data-entry module or equivalent.
