The Commission of the European Communities has issued a restricted call for tenders to assist the Commission in the preparation and organization of the Information Technology (IT) conference in Brussels, 1994, which will involve more than 1000 participants. Applications may be submitted individually or jointly. If two or more applicants submit a joint bid, one must be designated as the lead contractor and agent responsible. The lead contractor must be able to carry out the required work in Brussels. Applicants must include in their request to participate, under penalty of exclusion, the following information: - List of similar work undertaken; - Legal status of the applicant; - Annual turnover; - Number of permanent staff; - Principle conferences organized during the last two years and the number of participants at each one.
