The Commission submitted on 14 December 1990 (COM(90) 598) an amendment to the draft Council Resolution (OJ No L 109 of 26.4.86) on improving the prevention and treatment of acute human poisoning, including poisoning due to the illicit use of drugs. The amendment contains a few detailed changes in the wording and content of the draft. It further includes a new recital calling for continued collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) and with Community and non-Community poison centres.
