Strengthening the development of SMEs in Kazakhstan - call for tenders
The European Commission has launched a call for tenders for strengthening the development of SMEs (small and medium sized enterprises) and private farms in Kazakhstan under the Tacis programme. The project objective is to strengthen the development of SME enterprises and create employment opportunities in poor areas through micro enterprises. It will also support improvements in the agri-processing sector, trade and services. Projects will: - enhance the competitiveness of existing enterprises; - support the development of new enterprises, especially that of micro enterprises; - aim to strengthen the supply linkages between small enterprises and the extractive industries in Aktobe oblast.
