Improvement of SME environment in Ukraine - call for tenders
The European Commission has published a call for tenders under the Tacis programme for the improvement of the SME (small and medium sized enterprise) environment in Ukraine. The project will support the SME sector through improving the business climate for SMEs at the oblast level and national level. This will involve assisting in the development of a pro-SME policy environment and administrative culture amongst national and oblast administrations. Secondly, support will be given to improve access to, and use of, business consultancy advice for SMEs. Thirdly, training will be provided to financial intermediaries to improve the lending environment. This project will work through the Ministry of economy and European integration of Ukraine, regional authorities in the target oblasts and SME associations.
