EU to share scientific expertise with India
The EU will share its expertise in science and technology with India under a new five year strategy adopted by the European Commission on 28 August. The EU is expected to make around 225 million euro available during the period to help India build up its human capital by making elementary education universal, improving health services and safeguarding a healthy environment. In addition to sharing scientific and technological expertise, the EU will also seek to facilitate the exchange of talented students and scholars and collaboration between scientists from the EU and India.
