The Commission calls for research proposals for Section C (Testing of new techniques in practice, excepting the pilot dismantling projects), of the 1989-1993 programme on the decommissioning of nuclear installations. The call involves: alternative large-scale tests in installations; large-scale testing of new techniques in the four pilot dismantling projects; secondment of scientific staff from the Member States to the pilot projects.
