More than 200 contacts and addresses for organizations with an interest in the libraries area are now accessible on the CORDIS RTD-Partners database. These organizations include libraries, suppliers, research institutions and consultancies located in the EU and EFTA countries. This information was obtained from the third call for proposals of the LIBRARIES programme, which closed on 15 February 1994 (OJ No C 310 of 16.11.1993). The LIBRARIES programme will continue under the Fourth Framework programme. The workplan ensures continuity by taking into account the results of the existing projects and by incorporating new orientations provoked by technological development in general.
