Results of MAST call for proposals
In March 1994, the Commission published a call for proposals under the MAST programme for the assessment of risks and adverse impacts likely to affect the marine environment as a result of the use of marine technologies and techniques (OJ No C 51 of 15.3.1994). The Commission received nine proposals in response to this call. It is intended to select between two and five projects when the committee responsible for selection meets in September 1994. The next call for proposals concerning marine science and technology is likely to take place on 15 December 1994, providing the new specific programme covering this area is adopted by the Council in September.
