The Institute coordinates the following large-scale works, within the framework of its activities for finalizing an advanced agricultural information system and its support for the European Union's Directorate-General for Agriculture: - Soil samples, using aerial sampling methods (segmented or whole samples) of soil surveys (topographical or positioning by satellite (GPS)); - Scientific and technical analyses within the framework of the viniculture, oleiculture and citriculture records and their relation to the common agricultural policy; - Cartographic parcels, linked, amongst others, to the organization of aerial coverage, and the operation of aerial photographs (aerotriangulation, photogrammetry, production of "MNT", orthophotomaps). This call for tender concerns technical assistance for the optimal integration of the Centre's tasks. Organizations or companies with experience in these fields may make proposals for the supply of two experts, on-site at Ispra for a period of two years, with knowledge in these fields and having at least five years' professional experience, preferably in similar agricultural fields.
