Establishment of the European Training Foundation
The Council of the European Communities adopted on 7 May 1990 a Regulation establishing a European Training Foundation. This Foundation will contribute to the development of the vocational training systems of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe designated as eligible for economic aid. It will work in the field of training, covering initial and continuing vocational training as well as retraining for young people and adults, including in particular management training.
