At a meeting of the Transport Council on 26 September 1994, three common positions were adopted on the following: - A proposal for a Directive on the transport of dangerous goods by road; - Two proposals for Directives on rail transport. Four resolutions were adopted on: - Civil aviation in Europe; - Telematics in the transport sector; - Organization of the market for internal navigation; - The report of the high-level group on road transport. A brief debate took place on the proposal for a Decision on trans-European networks. The proposal is aimed at an intermodal integration of the whole transport infrastructure. It involves all surface, maritime and aerial transport, including railway lines, airports and the information and management systems of the whole network.
