The European Commission has published a call for tender for the completion of a set of operational and functional requirements for future European air-traffic management systems. The tender requires the review of data and analysis existing in the form of 15 reports and supplementary papers provided in the course of a major study in the field of air-traffic management (ATM) and communications, navigation and surveillance (CNS). It also requires the completion of supplementary work, including corrections and enhancements, to provide a set of validated and consistent reports. On the basis of this work, a set of operational and functional requirements must be defined for future European ATM/CNS systems in the form of a number of reports. Requests for invitations to tender should be addressed to: European Commission Directorate-General for Telecommunications, Information Market and Exploitation of Research DG XIII/C Dr. S.
