An invitation to tender, particularly addressed to organizations already engaged in promoting similar innovative technologies, concerns the undertaking of associated measures in the context of THERMIE, to encourage the application and market penetration of non-nuclear energy technologies in the fields of rational use of energy, renewable energy sources, solid fuels and hydrocarbons. Work locations comprise Central and Eastern Europe, the USA, Japan and, to a lesser extent, the European Communities. Together with other specified information, proposals must outline a promotional programme (about 30 events per annum), similar to those of the THERMIE programme, and which could form part of European Communities dissemination activity.Full information is obtainable from: Commission of the European Communities Directorate-General for Energy (XVII-D-1) 200 rue de la Loi 200 B-1049 Brussels Tel. +32-2-2357234; Fax +32-2-2350150; Telex 21877 COMEU B
