The European Commission's Joint Research Centre has published a call for expressions of interest from institutes, organizations or companies which are interested in being considered for the five-year non-exclusive right to re-sell BCR reference materials to authorized distributors at prices they can fix independently. Such organizations will be mentioned as authorized distributors in the official catalogue of BCR reference materials. The proposed contract will cover the following categories of (certified) environmental reference materials produced by the BCR: - Pure carcinogenic compounds and calibration solutions; - Food and agriculture reference materials; - Biological and biomedical reference materials; - Reference materials for physical properties and for industrial raw materials and products. These materials include products requiring special handling, storage and/or dispatching conditions.
