Fourth Framework Programme proposal application forms
The European Commission has published the final version of the proposal application forms for companies and institutions wishing to participate in Community-funded research under the Fourth Framework Programme (see "CORDIS focus", Issue No 21 of 29 July 1994, for a draft of the application forms). The forms are part of the European Commission's initiative to simplify and harmonize procedures for participation in the specific programmes implementing the Fourth Framework Programme for research and technological development and demonstration (1994-1998). The information requested in the forms is the minimum required for the evaluation and administration of project applications. The form is divided into two parts. The first part relates to general financial and administrative data. It incorporates general proposal information and individual partner information, including details of participating organizations, the institutes carrying out the work and partners' costs. The second part relates more specifically to the needs of the individual programmes. It presents a description of the proposal and is divided into two sections: - The scientific and technical content of the proposal; - Information on the partnership. The following information is required for completing the forms: - Objectives; - Work content; - Project milestones and deliverables; - Benefits; - Economic and social impact; - Project management structure; - Partnership; - Financial information; - Exploitation plans; - Ongoing projects and previous proposals. The Commission will publish calls for tender for participation in the specific programmes of the Fourth Framework Programme on 15 December 1994. Each of the programmes will issue the application forms. The section on proposals description will be unique to each programme. The application forms will be included in the information package for each programme.
