The EU-Poland Association Committee met in Brussels on 1-2 December 1994 to discuss trade and economic developments in Poland, in particular in the context of EU enlargement. The issues discussed during the meeting included the access of Polish products to the European markets, in particular agricultural products, textiles and steel, and the ways of implementing the Europe Agreement between the EU and Poland. The problems connected with trade, agriculture, services, harmonization of law, cultural cooperation, cooperation in the nuclear sector, and cooperation on the environment were also discussed. Decisions were taken to establish further subcommittees or working groups on science, research and education, services, certification, transport and infrastructure, and the environment.
