The 'Korean scientific network with the European Research Area' (KORANET) project has issued a joint call on green technologies. Proposals under this call should mainly deal with one of the following sub-topics: - reduction of carbon footprint; - technologies for a sustainable development; - renewable energies and energy efficiency. Each project consortium should consist of at least three partners: one Korean partner and two European partners from two different European countries participating in the KORANET Joint Call (Austria, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey). KORANET seeks to deepen and strengthen science and technology cooperation between Korea and Europe. The project is funded under the Seventh EU Research Framework Programme (FP7). Eleven partners from nine European countries and Korea form the KORANET consortium. The five work packages include analytical and foresight exercises, the development of a joint funding programme for European-Korean research activities, and the organisation of conferences and workshops. For more information on the call, please visit: http://www.koranet.eu/en/229.php For Korean- and European-based scientists and researchers active in green technologies, KORANET has created the 'EU-Korea cooperation in S&T' on the CORDIS Partners Service.
