The European Commission has published a call for proposals entitled 'Science for society'. The document is part of the latest set of calls published under the EU's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). The Science in society work programme aims to encourage pan-European reflection and debate on science and technology as well as their relationship with society and culture, thereby stimulating the harmonious integration of scientific and technological endeavour.
