The Commission invites proposals for RTD projects and accompanying measures in the context of the recently adopted programme in the field of telematics systems of general interest. This call addresses five of the seven areas identified in the Council Decision: Support for the establishment of trans-European networks between administrations (ENS); transport services (DRIVE); health care (AIM); flexible and distance learning (DELTA); telematic systems for rural areas (ORA). A second call will address tasks in these areas not covered by projects established following this first call.
