Call for expressions of interest for studies and other accompanying measures in the framework of the specific programme for cooperation with third countries and international organizations
The European Commission, DG XII, has published a call for expressions of interest for studies and other accompanying measures in the framework of the specific programme in the field of cooperation with third countries and international organizations. The service in charge will send invitations to tender for specific contracts in the fields below which are not the subject of an individual notice published in the Official Journal to all candidates appearing on this list or to a selection of candidates chosen from this list on the basis of selection criteria related to the contract. In general, this call for expressions of interest addresses policy-related issues of importance to the international science and technology cooperation of the EU and/or EEA. Studies and services are envisaged, such as to assess merits and disadvantages of strategies and instruments, to develop the concept of "mutual benefit", to help developing priorities and execution mechanisms, to identify synergy, opportunities and options in the field or to study socio-economic conditions and consequences. The studies or services may require different backgrounds according to the scope of the study or service required, such as: basic or applied sciences, technology assessment, foreign policy analysis or economic analysis. They will be conducted from a global perspective, for single countries or for particular regions or types of countries, such as: 1. Central Europe and the NIS; 2. Non-European Mediterranean countries; 3. Developing countries; 4. Emerging industrialized countries; 5. Industrialized countries (USA, Japan, Canada, etc.); 6. World-level international organizations and European scientific organizations. The contracts may be in the form of study contracts, consultancy contracts or service contracts, depending on the nature of the work.
