CORDIS has further expanded the range of Fourth Framework Programme documents available on its World Wide Web server. The documents include calls for proposals, work programmes and information packages which are available in a variety of language versions. They are available as both text files and as hypertext files. This provides the major advantage of being able to scan a document online and navigate through it using hyperlinks before printing it out or downloading it to a word processor. The CORDIS server can be accessed using most of the standard WWW browsers such as Netscape and Mosaic at the following location: http://cordis.europa.eu It is possible to supply documents directly to CORDIS for inclusion on the WWW. Documents should be in either Word for Windows 2 or WordPerfect 5.1 format or already marked up using the hypertext markup language (HTML). Software is currently freely available to help you do this and further information can be supplied if necessary. Documents that are already in the required format can be put onto the WWW very quickly otherwise some conversion or reformatting may be required. No changes are made to the content of the files. The documents currently available on the CORDIS WWW server are listed in the text (TXT) field of this news item.
