On 12 July 1994, the European Commission, DG III, published an open call for tenders for the provision of services for the maintenance and development of the EURES (European Employment Services) computer system (OJ No S 131 of 12.7.1994 p. 87.). This call included the following four lots: - Lot 1: Senior technician to oversee maintenance and development of the EURES system over three years and assist in project management; - Lot 2: Provision of technical and human resources for the maintenance and development of the system; - Lot 3: Provision of an X.25 network across the European Economic Area; - Lot 4: Provision of video communication between adviser workstations. The European Commission has now published a contract award notice concerning this call. A total of 36 tenders were received. These were divided between the four lots as follows: - Lot 1: 13 - Lot 2: 9 - Lot 3: 8 - Lot 4: 6 The successful tenderers and the amounts awarded for each lot are as follows: - Lot 1: Contract awarded to Network Solutions SA, 113 rue H"tel des Monnaies, B-1060 Brussels for an amount of ECU 207,088; - Lot 2: Contract awarded to Marben SA, 49 Blvd. Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg for an amount of ECU 253,296; - Lot 3: Contract awarded to Interpac Belgium SA, 350-358 Avenue Louise - Box 11, B-1060 Brussels for an amount of ECU 276,847; - Lot 4: Contract awarded to Marben SA, 49 Blvd. Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg and subcontracted out to AT/T for and amount of ECU 99,905.
