Sectors of intensive telecommunications use and the main innovative pilot projects should also be identified and the current regulatory framework and perspectives analysed. The study should evaluate the foreseeable impact of European developments on communications and related issues in this region. It should also examine means of associating these countries, through cooperative actions, with the development of an Information Society which takes account of their cultural diversity.
