From mid-September onwards, the RTD-Partners database will contain details of over 1,255 partners interested in the "Telematics for the Integration of Disabled and Elderly People" (TIDE) area of the Community's Telematics Applications programme. A wide variety of companies in the field of information technology are seeking partnerships in this specific research area. Universities, research institutes, associations and centers for rehabilitation technology are also included in the new entries. The RTD-Partners database helps partners in the formation of consortia for larger projects and provides useful information about projects undertaken or products developed in the various areas relevent to TIDE. This information should be of particular interest to potential participants in the TIDE call for proposals which opens on 15 September 1995 and closes on 15 January 1996.
