The European Commission, DG XII, has announced the events which have been selected, in the first round, in response to the call for proposals for the Training and Mobility of Researchers (TMR) programme which was published on 17 January 1995. The call covered the "Accompanying Measures" activity of the programme: namely Euroconferences (MA1), Summer Schools (MA2) and Practical Training Courses (MA3). Organizers of the events will be able to provide financial support to young scientists, especially female researchers and researchers from less developed regions. The events selected in the area of Mathematical and Information Sciences are: - Euroconferences in Focused Aspects of Mechatronics (EFAM-(MA1): 1.
