Notice of call for applications for the COMETT II programme
The COMETT programme of cooperation between universities and enterprises in education and training for technology, now in its second phase (1990-1994), provides financial support for actions under the following four Strands: - Strand A: The creation, development and reinforcement of University Enterprise Training Partnerships (UETPs) to establish a European network; - Strand B: Transnational exchanges of the following types: . Ba: Integrated student placements of 3 to 12 months duration ; . Bb: Advanced training placements of 6 to 12 months duration; . Bc: Personnel exchanges between universities and enterprises of 2 to 12 months duration; - Strand C: Joint training actions of the following types: . Ca: Short training courses; . Cb: Joint training projects (training materials, courses, multimedia systems); . Cc: Joint training pilot projects; - Strand D: Complementary measures, preparatory visits. The current 1992 call includes two different procedures: An open call for applications in Strands A and Cb; a restricted call for applications in Strands Ba, Bc and Ca, restricted to COMETT II UETPs (Strand A) accepted in 1990 or the 1992 call. As strong competition is expected, applicants are encouraged to present carefully prepared applications which meet the criteria set out in the Vademecum and Application Package.
