The European Commission, DG III, has published an invitation to tender for services relating to REITOX, the telematic network for the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA). EMCDDA was set up on 8 February 1993 to provide the Community and its Member States with reliable and comparable information concerning drugs and drug addiction. The aim of the tender is to manage the development, operation and support of all systems, the provision of telematic services for data exchanges on drugs and drug addiction, and finally the provision and operation of security services to offer confidentiality, integrity, authentication and access control mechanisms and the provision and operation of a helpdesk, training, documentation and maintenance as well as ongoing support.
