Computer service bureau: ECHO
A call for tenders concerns the provision of computer facilities for the operations of the European Commission Host Organisation (ECHO), an important instrument within the IMPACT programme. Echo offers currently 10 experimental databases, 8 user support databases and three other innovative services. Data processing facilities are operated under a service contract. The present call for tenders requires clearly defined budgetary envelopes and a precisely specified performance contract for the provision of hardware and software resources.
