Regional and urban energy planning in the Community
The Commission of the European Communities seeks proposals for activities eligible for support in 1992 in the fields of: - Regional energy planning studies; - Urban energy planning studies - Feasibility studies on practical projects covering the technical, economic, financial, legal and other matters to be dealt with prior to energy investment; - Assistance in the setting up and launching of specific local and regional developmental and advisory teams. The Commission is able to grant up to a maximum of 40% of total costs in support of selected proposals, to a maximum of ECU 100,000. Support in excess of this figure is possible only in the case of joint projects submitted by two or more regions, or towns or cities, belonging to different Member States. Proposals must be submitted by one ore more public or semi-public bodies including industrial or commercial undertakings (in particular those covering a region or an urban or local administrative area).
